While our forces were busy in their operations in Swat in May 2009, the people residing there were relocated. The tragic part was that almost all cities and towns neglected and avoided shouldering the responsibility of helping those who were moved from their homes by force. These people were bare handed. Without food, shelter and clothes. While many of us refused to accommodate them in their cities let alone homes, many came forward to help and support them in various ways. Like providing food, clothes, camps, books etc.
MKMZ was equally devastated at the state of affairs and waste no time thinking. We immediately went ahead with provision of food, distribution for immediate use as well as storage.
